On the property in Georgia. Seems the trail cam has only caught him at night, meaning he only comes out at night, as well.
The rut is beginning, and hopefully, he will forget those nocturnalisms and chase something directly in my shooting path.
If I tag this one, I will retire from deer hunting.
Forever.

Obviously a Georgian vampire deer. I've never seen one in the daytime either.
Let me drive my car through this area; if it's like home, it'll be jumping out in front of me in no time. I'll get you a shot.
The other day I saw a big boy deer walking across the street, huge antlers, while I was on my drive to the grocery store. Walked through the gate of a house like he owned the place.
Good luck, Gino.
I still haven't bagged a buck yet this year. I have 3 days left to hunt and close up camp. The wife and I will head up north Thursday. We have a doe permit and 3 buck tags... I have had several opportunities to shoot a doe so far...
My aunt shot a 7 pointer and my uncle got a spiker in the snow last Saturday. My aunt missed a HUGE buck Sunday. She has shot several 10 pointers; she knows what she is doing.
