Bear Thoughts

Enough can't be said about Jay Cutler's performance tonite after having kept the Bears in it for four quarters. It's not easy staying upright and completing passes without protection or recievers.
I don't care what others say. Jay is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the league today.

Props to the Lions. From here, it looks like the long slog from hinterlands is paying off with good draft picks and a team that won't give up after they've been beat, which is why they haven't yet been beat.

Meanwhile, it's gonna be a long rest of the season for us Bears fans.
Maybe we can win seven games this year?
Hopefully, the off season will bring some different minds to top management, but I won't hold my breath.

I was channel surfing last night between this game and the Brewers/Cardinals debacle. One thing should be clear after this game -- there are a hell of a lot of people who owe Jay Cutler an apology. The guy played exceptionally well, considering the beating he was taking. The Bears need some competent offensive linemen soon.

The Lions look like they are going to be problematic, too. That game on Thanksgiving Day is finally going to mean something....

This division could really be a bear for years to come.

mr d: and some recievers. he often is holding too long waiting for them to get open so they can drop the ball without interference from the defense.

i wonder... swap QB's with green bay for a month and rodgers wont be the NFL's golden boy anymore, and they'll call him him a pussy and a quitter... yadda yadda yadda...

WB: yeah, i know...

I heard help is coming soon for Cutler--the McCaskeys just resigned Jay Hilgenberg and Tom Thayer.
