Hot Sauce Correction Part Two

Tully here,

As the debate on hot sauce progresses, it becomes increasingly apparent to me that those who like tongue-burning habanero sauces are of a different breed than those of us who enjoy a hot sauce with flavor. The latter are sensible sensualists, the former sado-masochistic. It brings to mind, in fact, the perverse pleasure a Nazi would take in torturing a fellow human being--taking pleasure in those sharp pangs of pain. Let's just say it: Hitler was a habanero-eater. Just like Bike Bubba and all the rest of you sickos!

Nothing like habanero sauce to wash down a plate of chickpeas.

So cruel and yet so...apropos!

hitler did harm to others, not to himself.
he may have force fed habaneros to others, but would likely never eat one himself.

I think he might have actually blown his brains out in a pool of gasoline, but I'm not entirely sure.

(:

The pool of gasoline was an impromptu cremation service right outside his bunker, actually. He'd been dead for a while by that time. I believe the Soviets identified him by dental records--ironically, in a nation renowned for crematoria, they didn't do the job very well.

Thanks, that's really interesting!

Nonetheless, I think he did harm to himself, both gastronomic and otherwise!

Absolutely--on the bright side, however, PETA is thrilled to announce 'ol Schicklgruber was a vegetarian!

(true about the vegetarian part, false--I hope--about the PETA part)

not for the animals.

He couldn't stand the sight of blood. Per John Toland. Right wingers rarely can.

Hah. Hot sauce and godwinning. Nice synergy.

RW; this would explain, then, why a key constituency of the GOP is hunters, and why butchers carefully drain carcasses of blod before continuing, and why the proper name for "Nazi" is "National Socialist German Worker's Party." Looks like your hypothesis needs a little work....

Late to this discussion. Original is way down. In light of all the commentary, felt the need to actually conduct a taste test. The boy is a hot sauce fiend so he was all for it. We generally have Tabasco in house, but occasionally had Franks for a specific recipe. Never tried it just as a sauce to put on something like eggs. Pulled them out and also got a bottle of Cholula. In head to head competition, Franks Original wins hands down over these. Has the consistency of Cholula, the bite of the Tabasco without the vinegar after taste.

The boy was actually annoyed I didn't grab a bottle of rooster sauce to try to0. Maybe next time! :)
