You already know the story but I wanna take this into another direction...
Your daughter is facing serious felony charges, and a potentially life threatening verdict.
There does exist the possibility of a less unfavorable outcome if the defense is able to claim/allude to Father-Daughter child molestation.
Would you play along to save your daughter?
I would. In a heartbeat.

If I thought my daughter was innocent, I likely would. If she was guilty, no way.
What NW said.
No.
What NW said, especially if it's my grandchild in a premature grave. Covering up for a possibly murderous daughter to spare her from the rebuke she needs for her sin is no favor.
Word verification, ironically; "mater."
Not so much in favor of lying, ever. It boils down to does the end justify the means? I've always had a problem with that.
i have no problem with lying to save my child's life. dont know why it would be a delimma for anybody else...
welcome, John.
